“14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear vwithout someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
This past Sunday, we took a break from our series in Mark and went over our church’s vision, which is:
To glorify God by transforming lives, families, and the city through proclaiming the Gospel.
I feel super privileged and unworthy at the same time to be part of something so great and big and part of God’s plan. It’s overwhelming if we think of the task at hand, proclaiming the Gospel in Japan! This is the 2nd unreached people group for a reason! But I am glad that I am part of a church that cherishes the Gospel, where I am reminded of God’s grace and am pushed and encouraged towards this end. And if you have supported me in any way, you also are part of our church and team, so THANK YOU for all the prayers, support, and encouraging messages!! I truly cannot do this without you! (and of course Jesus!)
