Some Bad and Good News...

First of all, the bad news:

For a month now, we've been looking at and praying for this new church space. This space is big, on the 5th floor, and even better, it overlooks one of the JR train stations, so if you are at that station, you could easily see our church! However, there was one obstacle to overcome if we were to get accepted to rent that space or not. On the floor above us is an orthodontic practice and if our worship music doesn't bother them, then we would be accepted to rent the space. So one Saturday after our Connect gathering, a group of us went to test how loud it would be at this space along with our guitar and cajon. As we sang and played, the guitar and voices couldn't be heard, but the bass of the cajon went up through the walls and a slight *bom *bom was heard. We thought it wouldn't be that bad, but two days later, we get a call from the realtor saying that the orthodontist did not want us to move in.

The good news:

The next day, our realtor finds a new space for us, so we go and check it out. This new space is slightly bigger than the other space, still close to the main train station, and overlooks one of the main train lines! Long story short, in less than two weeks, we get accepted to rent this new space and our move in date will be this Saturday, November 5th! God is so good and faithful and we are ecstatic with a place where we can gather weekly! Thank you everyone for your faithful prayers!!

Here are pictures of our new space:

Here's a view from the outside looking in (left) and from the inside looking out (right). This will be where we will set up for our main services!

Here's the view of the second floor with a kitchen, kid's room, and a place where we can gather to eat or have bible studies!

And lastly, here's the third floor, the roof, where we can secretly have bbq's! ;)
